Sterile Processing Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Sterile Processing Technician to join our team at Atlantic Health System. As a key member of our Central Sterile Supply team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient processing of medical instruments and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate and maintain various medical equipment and machinery to prepare, assemble, and sterilize instruments and supplies.
- Accurately handle and care for instruments, selecting the appropriate cleaning agents and lubricants.
- Peel-pack and wrap instruments for sterilization, inspecting each item for completeness and cleanliness.
- Ensure safe care to patients, staff, and visitors, adhering to all FSC policies, procedures, and standards.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Completion of a Sterile Processing/Surgical Technologist program required.
- Certified Central Service Technician required.
- Certified Endoscope Repressor (CER) required.
- Minimum three (3) years of related experience preferred.
