Our Facilities

Our beautiful hospital boasts 7 well-equipped exam rooms (one specifically designed for felines), a spacious treatment area, separate surgical and dental suites, digital radiography, ultrasound, therapeutic cold laser, in-house laboratory and pharmacy, and a glass-walled ICU. Job Summary

The Assistant Manager will support the Hospital Manager in maintaining our fast-paced, multi-doctor veterinary hospital's high standards. Key responsibilities include assisting with HR functions, such as hiring, training, performance management, and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. Additionally, the Assistant Manager will handle administrative tasks, client relations, and collaborate with the Hospital Manager to address staffing needs.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Maintain a positive attitude in all interactions with clients, pets, and colleagues.
  • Partner with the Hospital Manager to address staffing requirements, including hiring, training, reviewing, and coaching staff.
  • Utilize our hospital's computer systems to document medical records and communicate with clients and teammates.
  • Approve daily timesheets and correct schedules in Dayforce.
  • Reconcile End of Day reports and verify daily deposits.
  • Show empathy towards clients and treat pets with compassion and respect.
  • Address and resolve employee conflicts and behavior issues.
  • Manage the financial needs of the hospital by accurately tracking balances through collection of client transactions, cash handling procedures, and opening/closing procedures.
  • Meet and exceed business goals and objectives.
  • Possess excellent communication and conflict management skills.
  • Experience leading a diverse workforce and establishing a positive team environment is highly desirable.
  • Previous experience in a veterinary setting is a plus.
