We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Caretaker to join our team at Real Estate Equities.
Job Summary:The Caretaker will be responsible for maintaining exceptional cleanliness and providing exceptional customer service in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide exceptional customer service and foster positive resident relations.
- Be a valuable member of the on-site team, working collaboratively to achieve common goals.
- Adhere to high standards of quality cleaning, ensuring a clean and safe environment for residents.
- Perform apartment turn-over duties efficiently and effectively.
- Maintain all interior and exterior common areas, including:
- Sweep, mop, polish and strip floors
- Vacuum, spot clean and/or shampoo rugs and carpet
- Clean windows
- Spot-wash stained walls and doors
- Remove garbage from receptacles and inset plastic liners
- Assist with snow removal, sweeping, watering/weeding and grounds upkeep
- Report any malfunctions or damages to amenities, fixtures and common areas to supervisor.
- Replace light bulbs and maintain a safe and well-lit environment.
- Clean debris from vacant apartments and garages.
- Practice safe and proper use of materials and equipment.
- Recommend cleaning materials and equipment purchases, and maintain supply room.
- Assist with end-of-month turn cleaning.
- Previous caretaking or cleaning experience preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning standards and techniques.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work efficiently.
This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday and weekends as necessary.
