Lifepoint Health is seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team in Tacoma, Washington.

CompensationThe estimated salary range for this position is $35.00 USD to $40.00 USD per hour.
Job DescriptionThis role involves working under the guidance of a supervising Physical Therapist (PT) to deliver comprehensive physical therapy programs using various techniques and treatment activities. Key responsibilities include:
- Implementing treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs
- Providing treatments to diverse diagnostic populations
- Communicating with support personnel regarding treatment orders as directed by the PT
- Assisting patients in preparation for treatment/modality as necessary
In addition to these duties, the successful candidate will be expected to collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, document patient progress according to hospital policy and State Practice Act, and perform other tasks as assigned.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo excel in this role, candidates must possess:
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant
- Previous experience in patient care, preferably in a physical therapy setting
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS)/Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
