About the Opportunity

The University of Virginia Health System (UVA Health) Division of Nephrology is seeking a talented individual to provide direct patient care and lead multi-disciplinary teams in managing recipients of kidney and pancreas transplants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct clinics focusing on pre- and post-transplant patient care, with flexible scheduling available.
  • Participate in listing and quality improvement meetings.
  • Manage inpatient services as required, with no outpatient clinic duties during inpatient rotations.
  • Collaborate in a growing transplant program performing 250-300 kidney and pancreas transplants annually.
Teaching and Mentorship Opportunities

Engage in teaching opportunities within Undergraduate Medical Education (UME) and Graduate Medical Education (GME), providing mentorship and contributing to the academic growth within a large fellowship program.

Working Conditions

The successful candidate will work in a clinical environment with access to comprehensive onsite equipment and ancillary services, including clinic echocardiography, a dedicated inpatient unit with IMU, a dedicated infusion center, and onsite dialysis and apheresis.

Estimated Salary

$200,000 - $300,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
