Polysomnographic Technologist

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for conducting polysomnographic recordings and determining testing and treatment parameters in conjunction with physicians and medical directors. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of sleep disorders and be able to provide high-quality results and patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluates patient testing modalities and treatment protocols to produce optimal polysomnographic procedures.
• Performs routine and complex equipment care, maintenance, and repairs.
• Scores sleep/wake stages and clinical events by applying professionally accepted guidelines and protocols.
• Demonstrates competence in performing assigned responsibilities and adapts assessment, treatment, and service methods to accommodate the unique needs of each patient.

Requirements:

Education/Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience

• Minimum one year experience in an established sleep center preferred.

Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications

• RPSGT/BRPT.
• BLS.
