We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Upson Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients.

Job Summary

The Diagnostic Imaging Specialist will work closely with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis of various medical conditions. This is a critical role that requires strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain complex imaging equipment to produce high-quality images.
  • Collaborate with radiologists to ensure accurate interpretation of images.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve image quality and reduce radiation exposure.
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and outcomes.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 6 months of experience in a hospital radiology department or relevant clinicals.
  • An Associates Degree in a related program and registry in relevant disciplines, or registry eligible.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience with X-Ray and CT imaging would be an asset, and we can provide training for registered applicants who are interested in learning more about CT technology.

Compensation and Benefits:

This is a full-time position with competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package. The estimated salary for this role is $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
