Nurse Manager

Penn State Health is seeking an exceptional Nurse Manager to lead our Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction, operational oversight, and clinical leadership to ensure high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate, develop, and implement unit goals, objectives, and policies that align with Penn State Health's mission and vision.
- Lead and manage a team of experienced nurses, ensuring their growth and development through ongoing education, training, and mentorship.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with physicians, ancillary staff, and other healthcare professionals to promote collaborative practice and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Monitor and analyze unit performance data, identifying areas for improvement and implementing evidence-based solutions to enhance patient satisfaction, quality, and safety.
- Collaborate with hospital administrators, medical directors, and other stakeholders to advance unit operations, improve efficiency, and increase revenue.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Master's degree in Nursing required.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in pediatric critical care nursing, preferably as a nurse manager or in a leadership role.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania or ability to obtain licensure within 6 months.
- Progressive leadership experience with demonstrated expertise in managing teams, improving patient outcomes, and driving process improvements.

Salary and BenefitsThe estimated salary range for this position is $93,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including:
