Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Sales Technician to join our team at WEIS LLC. As a Pharmacy Sales Technician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform all functions and duties of a Pharmacy Service Representative to ensure prompt service in the pharmacy department.
  • Process new and refill prescriptions, including refill authorization from doctor offices where permitted by state law.
  • Retrieve and dispense medications, create prescription labels, and complete paperwork related to filling prescriptions.
  • Assist with maintaining the pharmacy department by keeping it clean and in order.
  • Participate in inventory management processes, including order review, inventory returns, restocking shelves, and physical inventory preparation.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED), plus 600 practical hours working in retail and/or pharmacy operations.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
