Hedging Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled Hedging Leader to join our team at Aspida Financial Services LLC. In this critical role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a scalable hedging program for our insurance companies. You will own the day-to-day oversight of the platform, working closely with our actuarial experts and the Ares Insurance Solutions team on investment and hedging strategies for our international annuity and reinsurance platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a hedging program that minimizes collateral and capital impacts.
• Collaborate with pricing actuaries, distribution clients, and banking partners on new FIA and RILA products.
• Work with corporate finance, valuation actuaries, and AIS on projections and capital planning.
• Build a team of 2-3 people to own the hedging process across the group.

Requirements:

• Track record of prior success in implementing hedging programs.
• Broad understanding and relevant experience with Life and Annuity products.
• Ability to own and manage multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to communicate complex concepts in a simple way.
• Knowledge of actuarial guidelines and accounting standards.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Self-motivated with strong collaboration and communication skills.
