Job Summary:

This role is part of the NY Hiring for Emergency Limited Placement Statewide Program (NY HELPS).

As a Pharmacy Aide, you will assist with the filling of medical prescriptions under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Your responsibilities will include supporting the pharmacy team in maintaining accurate records, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with the preparation and dispensing of medications
Maintain accurate records of prescriptions and inventory
Support the pharmacy team in maintaining a clean and organized work environment
Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and satisfaction

Requirements:

High school diploma or high school equivalency diploma
One year of experience in a pharmacy setting or completion of a pharmacy technician training program
Current pharmacy technician certification or ability to obtain certification within six months
