About This Role

We are seeking an experienced Executive Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at Truist Financial Corporation. In this role, you will provide administrative support to senior-level executives and manage a wide range of administrative tasks with minimal guidance.

Job Description

As an Executive Administrative Support Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to provide high-level administrative support to senior executives, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and exceptional customer service. You will also be responsible for:

  • Preparing correspondence, reports, and forms in accordance with established procedures
  • Composing correspondence as directed, and answering correspondence on own initiative within guidelines
  • Executing routine projects within general guidelines and instructions
  • Providing workflow and problem-solving guidance to other administrative assistants
  • Establishing and maintaining files and records
  • Screening calls/voicemails and handling or routing to appropriate individuals
  • Arranging and handling details related to travel arrangements, expense reports, departmental budgets, meetings, and appointments
  • Dealing discreetly with confidential information
  • Making recommendations to management based on findings
  • Interacting with internal and/or external customers to answer questions, research, and resolve problems requiring in-depth knowledge of the function and process transactions within scope of authority
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent education and related training
  • Seven years of progressively more complex clerical experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (including strong knowledge of spelling and grammar), organizational skills, interpersonal skills, and math skills
  • Ability to work independently and deal with complex situations that require sound judgment
  • Ability to operate office equipment (e.g., copier, fax)
  • Ability to endure light physical labor
  • Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products
