Job Summary

This position is responsible for promoting mental health recovery through a person-centered approach focusing on independence and integration. The ideal candidate will provide direct service case management and skill building intervention, transport clients to appointments or designations, and assist clients in the development of natural support systems to help foster independence as much as possible.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver mental health assessment, treatment planning, and intervention for clients impacted by emotional/behavioral impairment and serious, persistent mental illness.
  • Provide direct service case management and skill building intervention.
  • Transport clients to appointments or designations.
  • Assist clients in the development of natural support systems to help foster independence.

Requirements
  • High School diploma/GED and 2 years related experience, technical certificate or 60 undergraduate college credits.
  • Bachelor's or Associates Degree preferred.
  • Prior experience in behavioral health, human services or other relevant social services, involving collaborative process of assessment, planning, facilitation, care coordination, evaluation, skill development, or advocacy for options and services to meet an individual's and family's comprehensive health, education, social services, and/or restorative justice needs preferred but not required.

  • Ability to think critically and analyze information/situations for most appropriate response.
