Job Summary

The Medical Assistant will serve as a vital link between our psychiatric providers, clients, and external organizations, ensuring seamless communication and efficient service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with psychiatric staff to facilitate prior authorizations, medication-related calls, and other administrative tasks.
  • Process refill requests, review laboratory test results, and communicate with clients, guardians, and therapists as needed.
  • Document client concerns, monitor progress, and work collaboratively with mental health therapists to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of documentation, adhering to agency standards and policies.
  • Exemplify excellent communication skills, respect, and courtesy in all interactions, upholding the agency's mission and values.
Requirements
  • Spanish speaking preferred
  • Two years of medical assistant experience, preferably in an outpatient clinic setting
  • Ability to relate well to children, families, and staff members
Work Schedule

Monday through Friday: 12:30-4:30PM
