Business Development Officer

The Role: As a Business Development Officer, you'll be at the forefront of our expansion, identifying new business opportunities in the SMB and Mid-Market B2B sectors. You'll join a collaborative team with a flexible work environment, abundant greenfield sales opportunities, and strong leadership support.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute strategic sales plans to penetrate new markets
  2. Generate leads and build relationships with prospective clients through proactive outreach
  3. Utilize various methods, including phone, social selling, and networking to create opportunities
  4. Manage the full sales cycle, from initial contact to deal closure
  5. Meet or exceed sales quotas and targets
  6. Leverage CRM tools and industry knowledge to drive sales success
  7. Participate in our structured training and mentorship program to enhance your skills

Requirements:

  • 2.5-5 years of B2B sales experience with a proven track record of success
  • Strong hunter mentality and strategic approach to business development
  • Experience in C-level sales exposure and full sales cycle management
  • Proficiency in cold calling and new business acquisition
  • Self-starter attitude with the ability to thrive in a remote environment
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Location and Travel: This position is based in one of our key markets: Los Angeles, Denver, Phoenix, Portland, Minnesota, St. Louis, Cincinnati, or Cleveland. Some travel (approximately 20%) may be required. Candidates must reside in or be willing to relocate to the territory.
