Job Opportunity: MRI Technologist

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in Durant, Oklahoma.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced MRI Technologist to work in a dynamic healthcare environment. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating MRI scanners, assisting in the diagnosis of disease and injury, and ensuring the safety of patients, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI scanners and related equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Position patients and coils on the table to ensure accurate and safe imaging.
  • Inject contrast media as required to enhance image quality.
  • Set technical parameters and observe image data on computer monitors during scans.
  • Recognize and respond to life-threatening situations.
  • Comply with federal, state, and local regulations and accepted practice guidelines.
  • Deliver quality patient care in a professional manner.
Requirements
  • Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
  • Valid state radiology registration as required by state law.
  • Eighteen months of MRI Tech experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
  • Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.
