Job Title: DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team at CTG. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the development and deployment of infrastructure in AWS. You will automate deployment processes and ensure the reliability and scalability of services. You will also manage and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS, collaborate with development teams to integrate their applications into the infrastructure, and monitor and troubleshoot production systems, resolving issues as necessary.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Support the development and deployment of infrastructure in AWS.
  • Automate deployment processes and ensure the reliability and scalability of services.
  • Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS.
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate their applications into the infrastructure.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot production systems, resolving issues as necessary.
  • Continuously improve processes and tools to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Stay current with new technologies and industry trends, exploring innovative solutions to enhance our infrastructure.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Requirements:


  • Strong knowledge of Linux systems administration and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet).
  • Familiarity with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda).
  • Proficient in programming/scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, Go).
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.


Preferred Requirements:


  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with big data solutions such as ElasticSearch, Hive, Drill, Impala, Trino, or Presto.
