The successful candidate will be a licensed Veterinarian with a D.V.M. or V.M.D. degree and at least five years of veterinary experience. They will have demonstrated experience in shelter medicine, disease mitigation strategies, and public health initiatives, as well as leadership and mentoring experience.
In addition to your technical expertise and leadership abilities, you will possess strong interpersonal skills for public education and collaboration with veterinary staff. A passion for community service and the ability to split time effectively between the animal shelter and zoo are essential qualities for this role.
