Job Opportunity

Palmer Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our financial operations team, you will play a critical role in supporting expense planning, analysis, accounting, and reporting for our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and implementation of expense management processes and procedures
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports to inform business decisions and drive expense efficiency
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to design and implement process improvements
  • Provide expert-level support for financial planning and analysis, including budgeting and forecasting
  • Develop and maintain financial models and tools to support business needs

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
  • 4-6+ years of experience in financial reporting, expense reporting, and/or analysis
  • CPA certification, MBA, or on CPA track preferred
  • Big-4 audit experience highly desirable
  • Strong knowledge of accounting practices and principles
  • Insurance industry experience highly desirable
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint required
  • Strong system knowledge, including familiarity with current-era client-server accounting/financial packages
