At Utz Brands, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Raw Material Utility to join our team in Algona, WA.

The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving and storing materials in a safe and efficient manner, following all established operating procedures.

This role provides excellent customer service to internal and external customers, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of materials.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, two years of experience in material handling, and a valid forklift certification.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Operating equipment (pallet jack and forklift) to safely load/unload materials
  • Inspecting materials upon arrival, documenting any signs of damage, and completing appropriate paperwork
  • Processing paperwork required for receiving goods, verifying counts and quality according to established procedures
  • Monitoring inventory of materials daily and communicating low levels to production scheduler/purchasing
  • Maintaining a safe and clean work environment by keeping the work area orderly, complying with all procedures, rules, and regulations

Requirements include excellent communication, written, and verbal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Employees earn 1 hour for every 30 hours worked in both vacation time and Flex time for a maximum of 40 hours of each in their first year, as well as seven paid company holidays throughout the calendar year.
