Job Overview

TE Connectivity is seeking a Product Development Engineer to join our Energy Division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating innovative product solutions for the renewable energy market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create TE Energy connector products for LV applications using metallic and polymeric materials
  • Design and develop new product platforms for the renewables market
  • Execute engineering efforts on new product platforms from concept to industrialization
  • Optimize product costs and improve efficiency
  • Ensure product compliance and approvals for all new products and platforms

Requirements:

  • BSME, BSEE, or similar engineering degree with a minimum of 3 years of engineering related experience for Energy market applications
  • Experience creating power connectors for solar, BESS, and renewables applications
  • Knowledge of BESS products and architecture, PV connectors, fuse harnesses, and solar farm trunk architecture
  • Proficient in MS Office suite and 3D CAD design tools such as Creo
