Medical Office Coordinator

As a key member of the St. Joseph's Healthcare System team, the Medical Secretary II provides complex administrative support to Department leaders, serving as a resource for internal and external customers. This role requires a high level of critical thinking and independent judgment to resolve administrative issues.
Responsibilities- Provides administrative support to Department leaders, including coordination of meetings, events, and projects.
- Serves as a resource for internal and external customers, providing information and assistance as needed.
- Utilizes strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.
- Develops and maintains accurate and detailed records, reports, and documents.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will possess a High School diploma or equivalent and two to three years of previous work-related experience. Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and PowerPoint, is required. Bilingual skills are a plus.
This role requires excellent communication skills, with the ability to frequently answer telephone calls and work with multiple interruptions while maintaining positive communication.
