Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with a strong background in nursing practice to lead our float pool team. As a Lead RN Float Pool Specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating patient care activities, supervising staff, and ensuring seamless transitions between shifts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinating patient care activities, including assessing patient needs, developing individualized plans of care, and implementing interventions as needed.
  • Supervising and evaluating the performance of float pool staff, providing feedback, and supporting professional development.
  • Developing and maintaining effective relationships with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Maintaining accurate records, reports, and documentation related to patient care, staff supervision, and departmental operations.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • A current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
  • At least 2 years of recent nursing experience, preferably in a similar setting.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to adapt to changing situations, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Strong knowledge of nursing practices, standards of care, and regulatory requirements.
Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience as a lead nurse or supervisor, certification in clinical specialty areas, or education beyond the associate's degree level are considered assets.

Work Environment

This position requires working in a fast-paced healthcare environment, interacting with diverse patients, families, and staff members, and maintaining confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information.

Salary Information

The estimated salary range for this position is $83,000-$115,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience.
