Micro Fabrication Engineer

The Princeton Materials Institute at Princeton University invites candidates to apply for a Research Specialist position within the Micro and Nano Fabrication Center (MNFC) with a focus on lithography processes.
The MNFC is a shared-use fabrication facility with over 15,000 sq ft of clean room space, housing a large complement of tools dedicated to thin film deposition, photolithography, e-beam lithography, etching, packaging, and metrology.
We are seeking an energetic and motivated team player with creativity, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and capable of solving demanding technical and research problems.
The successful candidate will participate in a multidisciplinary research and education environment, mentoring and training student researchers and industrial users in all aspects of electron beam and photolithography processes and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee, maintain, and troubleshoot electron beam lithography systems, contact lithography tools, direct-write and mask writing photolithography tools, spin coaters, and develop tools.
- Train new MNFC users (internal and external) and support existing tool users, advising on process parameters, performing process development, and troubleshooting.
- Support the daily operation of MNFC and assist with laboratory incidents.
Requirements:
- Excellent technical and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary research environment.
- Experience with lithography processes and equipment.
