Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join our team at HexaQuEST Health, Inc. in a night flex shift position. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience in a trauma level 3 department and be able to work with minimal direction or supervision.
Responsibilities:
Assesses, prescribes, delegates, coordinates, and evaluates the nursing care provided to patients in the emergency room. Ensures the provision of quality care through the utilization of the nursing process, established standards of care, policies, and procedures. The RN is responsible for the written Nursing Care Plan, acts as the patient advocate, and directs and supervises personnel assigned to them. The RN is responsible to the Unit Nurse Manager or House Supervisor.
Requirements:
Must be currently active and have a minimum of three years of experience in an emergency room setting. Must be able to work a night flex shift with one or two other nurses and a full-time ER physician. Must be able to come in and work with minimal direction or supervision. Will be scheduled to work 36 hours per week, including every other weekend.
