Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our Project Development Group. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing site planning, entitlements, due diligence, and engineering for new developments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in site plan development, budget modeling, and project scheduling for potential new developments.
- Conduct thorough site investigations and document pre-construction conditions.
- Identify potential issues that may incur additional project costs, such as grading, storm water management, wetlands, floodplains, easements, access, utilities, and entitlements.
- Maintain critical project dates, schedules, and document management systems.
- Prepare and present at zoning board meetings, plan commission hearings, and other relevant forums.
- Continuously seek ways to improve project delivery and reporting processes.
- Possess strong permitting and entitlement experience.
- Travel required for site visits and client meetings.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, land planning, architecture, or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in civil engineering, site planning, and land development.
- Knowledge of site planning, site engineering, and storm water design and management.
- Ability to concurrently manage multiple development projects across various markets.
- Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and MS Project preferred.
- Licensed PE, LEED AP, and commercial real estate experience a plus.
Compensation:
The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, 401(k) plan, and opportunities for professional growth.
