Job Title: Registered Nurse

About the Role:
As a skilled Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality care to patients transitioning from critical care to general medical-surgical units. Your responsibilities will include assessing, monitoring, and treating patients, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team, and ensuring optimal outcomes in the step-down unit setting.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide specialized nursing care to patients transitioning from intensive care to general medical-surgical units.
• Monitor and assess patients' vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and respiratory status in the step-down unit.
• Administer medications, perform procedures, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and families on post-intensive care recovery, medication management, and self-care techniques.
• Communicate effectively with healthcare team members to facilitate patient progress and optimize outcomes in the step-down unit.

Requirements:
• Current RN license
• BLS (Other Certifications as required by facility)
• Two years of recent Step Down experience
• Strong communication and adaptability skills.
