Job Summary

Talón Logistics, a transportation company owned by Giant Eagle, relies on skilled Fleet Maintenance Mechanics to ensure its commercial fleet is always in top condition. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of vehicles, including diesel and compressed natural gas trucks, tractor trailer rigs, and vans.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair complex issues with vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
  • Inspect and repair or replace vehicle components, including suspension and steering systems, as needed.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments and technologies to ensure our fleet remains safe and efficient.
