Job Summary

St. John's Episcopal Hospital seeks a skilled RN to coordinate patient-focused care in a variety of clinical settings. The ideal candidate will utilize the nursing process to provide comprehensive, coordinated care to individuals and aggregate groups.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and prioritize patient needs, making decisions that reflect sound judgment
  • Monitor patient clinical status and assess for significant change
  • Communicate effectively with patients, family members, physicians, and team members
  • Administer medication safely and in accordance with hospital policies
  • Perform venipuncture and start intravenous lines safely

Requirements

  • Active RN license
  • Bachelor's Degree - Nursing
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a medical/surgical setting
  • Minimum 1 year experience in coronary care practice
