The Good Samaritan Society is a leading provider of senior services, dedicated to delivering compassionate care and promoting the well-being of our residents.
We are currently seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in Sioux Falls, SD. As a member of our nursing staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans.
This is a full-time position with a salary range of $26.00 - $48.00 per hour and includes a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, and paid time off.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including assessing resident needs, developing care plans, and implementing interventions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including providers, therapists, and social workers, to coordinate care and achieve optimal outcomes.
- Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, adhering to regulatory standards and company policies.
- Support and mentor junior staff members, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
Requirements:
- Degree from a nationally accredited nursing program or equivalent experience.
- Current LPN licensure in the state where practicing.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
