Salary
$81,600 - $102,000 per year

Job Description

The Senior Information Security Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our information systems and data. This includes monitoring and investigating security events, managing and configuring security systems, identifying opportunities for process improvement, and collaborating with other teams to mitigate threats. The successful candidate will have strong technical expertise in areas such as event triage, incident response, vulnerability management, penetration testing, and SIEM.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, the candidate must have a bachelor's degree in an IT-related field and at least 5 years of experience in Information Technology, with 3+ years of full-time Information Security experience. They must also possess strong Windows, networking, malware, and data analysis skills, as well as experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell or Bash. Additionally, the candidate should have working knowledge of SOC/Security Operations, ITSM, incident handling, vulnerability and penetration testing, security frameworks, and best practices. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as well as a solid understanding of relevant legal, compliance, and regulatory requirements, such as HIPAA and NYDFS cybersecurity. Project Management experience, Cloud Security Expertise, and Risk Management skills are also desirable.
