Job Title: Foreperson - Utility Pole Inspection - GOS (Foreman)


About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Foreperson to lead a crew of field workers in providing routine maintenance and remedial treatment of wood poles used to carry power lines and other above-ground utility lines.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a crew of field workers in providing routine maintenance and remedial treatment of wood poles.
  • Collect field data and maintain daily and weekly reports.
  • Achieve expected safety, quality, and production goals.
  • Maintain all tools, vehicles, and equipment.

Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
  • Experience with wooden pole inspection is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to read maps and navigate in congested areas.
  • Independently manage time and workload to meet deadlines.

  • Competitive pay rate of $24.00 per hour while on-the-job training, increasing to $30.00 per hour based on experience and performance.

Travel Requirements:

  • Willing to travel locally, statewide, and regionally as needed.

Safety:

  • Able to identify job site hazards.
  • Exhibits and carries out cognitive problem-solving skills.
  • Works near/around energized, hazardous parts and equipment.
