Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cable Installation Specialist to join our team at Baker Group. As a Cable Installation Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting in the installation of structured cabling systems, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the installation of structured cabling systems, including cable pulling, termination, and testing.
  • Work under the direct supervision of a journeyman to perform tasks such as material handling, loading and unloading, set-up, staging, clean-up, and site organization.
  • Perform low-skilled work with or without hand tools at the direction of a supervising journeyman.
  • Meet safety and quality standards by following all safety rules and common sense safety practices.

Requirements:

  • High school graduate or GED.
  • Trade-related math skills.
  • Ability to read a tape measure.
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in a variety of temperature and weather conditions.
