**About the Role:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HHS Chief Financial Officer to join our team at Lummi Nation. This is an exciting opportunity for a finance professional to lead our financial planning, budgeting, and management efforts.

**Job Summary:**

The HHS Chief Financial Officer will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all financial rules governing Lummi Health Service programs, including Lummi Tribal Health Center, Behavioral Health, Counseling Service, Family Services, and Healthcare Business Office. The successful candidate will have expertise in finance functions such as General Accounting, Budget, Fixed/Capital Assets, Financial Reporting, or Treasury.

**Key Responsibilities:**

Lead financial planning and budgeting processes to ensure accurate forecasting and reporting of revenues and expenditures;

Ensure compliance with all funding requirements and regulations, including GASB, FASB, IRS, OMB Circulars, and Granting Agency requirements;

Coordinate financial data and manage budgets to optimize financial performance;

Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including the Health Chief Executive Officer (CEO), General Manager (GM), and the Lummi Health and Family Services Commission;

Perform other duties requiring subject matter expertise in finance.

**Requirements:**

A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field;

At least 5 years of experience in financial leadership roles, preferably in healthcare or tribal settings;

Strong knowledge of financial regulations and laws, including GASB, FASB, and IRS;

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment;

Proven track record of leading financial teams and achieving financial goals.

**Benefits:**

Lummi Nation offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience;
