Job Summary
We are seeking an Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist to join our team at WI-SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital - Madison. As an Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist, you will play a critical role in performing diagnostic electroencephalograph (EEG) testing and contributing to the diagnosis and treatment of neurological disorders.
About the Role
This part-time position offers 24 hours/day and a competitive salary starting at $23.86 per hour. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Attaching, connecting, and operating electrodes from specified body areas to leads from electroencephalograph machine
- Reviewing patient records and instructing patients prior to procedures
- Monitoring patients during procedures and reporting any abnormal findings
- Identifying and correcting for artifacts
- Editing and forwarding results to attending physicians for analysis and interpretation
- Maintaining EEG equipment and supplies
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A High School diploma or equivalent
- No experience required; patient-facing experience is preferred
