Job Title: Senior Accounting Professional for Business Excellence

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Senior Accounting Professional to oversee critical accounting functions while driving process improvements and contributing to the success of our collaborative team. This role offers the opportunity to supervise staff, implement accounting policies and procedures, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align accounting processes with overall organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Accounting Policies and Procedures: Improve efficiency and ensure compliance by creating and maintaining accurate accounting records.
  • Support Month-End and Year-End Close Processes: Assist in AP-related journal entries, account reconciliations, and reporting to ensure timely completion.
  • Contribute to General Ledger Maintenance: Collaborate with the team to prepare financial statements and maintain accurate general ledger accounts.
  • Provide Documentation and Support: Ensure year-end audits and other compliance requirements are met by providing thorough documentation and support.
  • Oversee Accounts Payable Operations: Supervise the processing of invoices, payment disbursements, and vendor management to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Monitor Payment Schedules: Assist in managing cash flow by monitoring payment schedules and ensuring timely payments.
  • Supervise and Mentor Accounting Staff: Develop and mentor accounting staff to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and professional growth.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of hands-on accounting experience, including leadership or supervisory responsibilities.
  • Strong understanding of accounts payable processes, general ledger accounting, and month-end close procedures.
  • Experience with ERP systems, vendor management tools, and Excel preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

The estimated salary range for this role is $100,000 - $110,000 plus bonus, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
