About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Program Director to lead the successful implementation of several large and complex programs at MoCaFi, a fintech company dedicated to building a financial services platform that helps America's marginalized communities create wealth.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing diverse teams to deliver client program(s) that span across the company. You will oversee resources, schedules, and client expectations throughout the program planning and deployment phases, contributing to process improvement initiatives that enhance program delivery.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a portfolio of complex initiatives that encompass one or multiple product offerings
  • Manage day-to-day project activities and resources, chairing project management team meetings to ensure alignment and progress
  • Evaluate project progress to identify limitations or faults, seeking solutions to optimize processes
  • Collaborate with various teams to define and communicate the statement of work and project specifications for contracted services
  • Provide leadership for the project team by ensuring clear team member deliverables to meet project goals and milestones
  • Participate in establishing practices, templates, and tools to expand these capabilities for the organization
  • Establish goals and implement action plans for achieving set objectives
  • Manage project and program issues, change requests, and risks to mitigate impact on launch timelines
  • Deliver effective executive-level communication, providing status reporting on project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and issues
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of Project Management experience
  • Extensive knowledge of project management principles, methods, and techniques - PMP and/or Agile and/or Six Sigma certifications
  • Experience using Project Management software
  • Understanding of interdependencies between technology, operations, and business needs
  • Strong leadership, diplomatic, and motivational skills, including the ability to lead up, across, and down multiple business and technology organizations
  • Comfortable working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in problem-solving environments, demonstrating innovation and excellence
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships by engaging business leaders to establish credibility, solve problems, build consensus, and achieve objectives
  • Excellent communication (written, verbal, and presentation) and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands
  • Flexible, with proven ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Supportive of a diverse and inclusive work environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, ClaritySoft CRM, flowcharting software
  • Experience in the financial services or payments industry
  • Client service experience
  • Experience working in a startup environment
  • Able to work in the United States

Salary Range

This role offers a salary range of $105,000-$145,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
