Custodial Operations Specialist

 

The Custodial Operations Specialist is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for students and staff. This includes ensuring the cleanliness of the building, grounds, and facilities. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, establishing collaborative working relationships and accepting guidance and suggestions.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the cleanliness of the building, grounds, and facilities
  • Provide a safe environment for students and staff by eliminating hazards
  • Maintain a clean and tidy custodial closet
  • Maintain floors, walls, doors, windows, furniture, and fixtures
  • Report incidents of damage or missing items to the Chief Custodian
  • Assist in loading and unloading supplies and equipment

 

Requirements:

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Establishing collaborative working relationships
  • Able to accept guidance and suggestions
  • Punctual attendance
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
