We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Specialist to join our team in Scarborough, ME. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for performing assembly tasks and ensuring quality control.

About the Role

This is a contract position with possible extension or conversion to hire. The successful candidate will work 40 hours per week on either the 1st shift (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM) or 2nd shift (2:00 PM - 10:30 PM), Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble components, devices, and final products according to trade assignments
  • Perform routine work in all production areas with minimal supervision
  • Ensure product quality using standard operating procedures and good judgment
  • Contribute to enhancing efficiency and modifying/creating SOPs to ensure accuracy and quality
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of experience in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of GMP and medical device manufacturing is preferred, as well as prior machine operation experience.

A strong understanding of computer applications, including spreadsheets, databases, and word processing software, is also essential.

Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this position is $53,520 - $58,496, based on the hourly rate of $25.50 - $28.06 and assuming a 40-hour workweek.
