Job Overview

Solid Sealing Technology (SST) is a leader in the design and production of compact electrical components utilized globally. Position Summary:

The Manufacturing Operations Technician plays a crucial role in facilitating production workflows by setting up and operating process machinery, adhering to standard operating procedures (SOP), and assisting in the testing and development of new methodologies. This position involves collaboration with operators and other staff members while undertaking various responsibilities as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensures smooth product transition through production stages, including Leak Testing, Cleaning, and Furnace operations.
  • Adapts to different departments and roles as required.
  • Contributes to cost-saving initiatives by minimizing waste and scrap.
  • Completes tasks on time while meeting or surpassing quality standards.
  • Interprets technical drawings, work instructions, and related documentation to ascertain requirements.
  • Identifies and resolves minor equipment and product issues, utilizing precision instruments for necessary adjustments.
  • Supports engineering projects related to the development and assessment of prototypes and new products.
  • Advances products to subsequent operational stages in accordance with work instructions.
  • Documents work progress, rework, and scrap in the computer system.
  • Maintains compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations and best practices.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • At least two years of experience in a manufacturing setting is required.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory; an associate's degree or relevant certification is preferred.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions closely.
  • Willingness to assist colleagues.
  • Team-oriented skills, with the capability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • High level of manual dexterity.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and well-organized.
  • Proven time management capabilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

Compensation: $39,520-52,000 annually (Hourly Rate: $19-25)

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
