Job Overview

Ethos Holding Corp is seeking a highly skilled PCR Validation Specialist to join our team. This role requires a strong understanding of PCR assays and systems, as well as excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform validation, calibration, and troubleshooting of PCR systems, including Agena Bioscience Mass Array and Thermo Fisher QuantStudio.
  • Adhere to regulatory standards, such as CAP, CLIA, and state-specific requirements.
  • Maintain and document quality control measures and validation procedures for PCR instruments.
  • Support the Microbiology department by assisting with PCR testing for infectious diseases, respiratory pathogens, and pharmacogenetics.
  • Develop, review, and update SOPs related to PCR workflows and validation processes.
  • Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly quality control checks on PCR instruments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot workflow or instrument issues.
  • Document and analyze instrument performance metrics.

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience with Agena Bioscience Mass Array PCR validation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Proficient in operating PCR instruments and related equipment.
  • Knowledgeable of CAP, CLIA, and state-specific standards relevant to PCR laboratory operations.
  • High level of adherence to confidentiality and HIPAA regulations.
  • Ability to manage priorities in a high-throughput laboratory environment.

Salary Range:$80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
