The Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior/Principal Machine Learning Scientist to develop foundational psychological tools using machine learning (ML). This position involves creating cutting-edge technologies that enable individuals to maximize their potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development of advanced ML tools capturing psychological phenomena.
  • Design & run key experiments of LLM-based multi-agent systems.
  • Leverage real-world data to fine-tune and validate agent behavior.
  • Design an optimized data pipeline facilitating development, scalability, and integration with user-facing products.
  • Experiment with techniques to augment platform performance.
  • Collaborate closely with team members to enhance platform KPIs.
  • Closely collaborate with software developers to integrate platforms with user-facing products.
  • Communicate findings to a multidisciplinary audience.
Qualifications:
  • PhD in a computational field (e.g., machine learning, computer science, applied math, neuroscience, computational biology, physics, etc.)
  • Strong publication record in deep learning research, particularly with large language models
  • Prior industry experience (3+ years)
  • Fluency in Python and standard ML tools and packages and libraries (e.g. PyTorch, TensorFlow, Jax, sklearn)
  • Motivated and team-oriented, with an ability to thrive in a multidisciplinary environment
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to think independently and work collaboratively
  • Management and leadership experience preferred
Compensation:

$170,000 - $200,000 per year, depending on experience.
