Freelance Proofreader

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented freelance proofreader to join our team at D Magazine.

The ideal candidate will be a wizard at catching errors and ensuring that all content meets the highest standards of quality. They will work closely with our managing editor to deliver high-quality proofreading services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proofread print and digital content for a wide range of clients.
• Collaborate with the managing editor to ensure timely delivery of edits.
• Work up to 20 hours per week.

Requirements:

• Fluency in Microsoft Office applications, InCopy, InDesign, and Acrobat.
• Strong knowledge of AP Stylebook and Merriam-Webster.
• Able to learn and implement SEO best practices.
• Experience producing high-quality digital and print content.
• Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Detailed and organized approach.
• Prompt communication.

Ideal Candidate:

• Part-time or full-time freelancers with a flexible schedule.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
