School Based Speech Language Pathologist Job Description

Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a school-based position.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational professionals to develop effective communication strategies.
  • Provide direct therapy services and monitor student progress.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the multidisciplinary team.
  • Evaluate student communication skills and diagnose speech and/or language disorders.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to support student communication development.
  • Offer support and training to teachers for classroom communication practices.

Requirements:

  • Masters or Doctorate Degree in Communication Sciences Disorders or Speech and Language Pathology
  • Active SLP License
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
