Travel Nurse RN Position in Arizona's White Mountains

Salary Information
We offer a competitive salary for this position, estimated at $110,000 per year, based on national averages for Travel Nurses in similar roles and locations. Your annual salary will be comprised of hourly wages, with opportunities for overtime pay.
Job Responsibilities
As a Travel Nurse RN, you will provide high-quality patient care in our Labor and Delivery unit. Your primary responsibilities will include assessing patients, developing individualized care plans, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal outcomes. You will work closely with our experienced staff, including obstetricians, certified nurse midwives, and other medical professionals to deliver exceptional care to our patients.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have at least 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Labor and Delivery. You should possess an active AZ or compact license and demonstrate proficiency in fetal monitoring, pre-eclampsia management, and C-section procedures. Additionally, you should be able to function effectively in couplet care settings and possess strong assessment skills to manage OB emergencies until providers arrive.
Schedule and Shifts
This full-time position requires three 12-hour night shifts per week, with guaranteed hours and no cancellations. Weekend shifts are mandatory, with a minimum of 3 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule. You may also be required to participate in call rotations, working one shift every 4 weeks. As part of our commitment to providing excellent care, we maintain a 1:2 patient-to-nurse ratio in our L&D unit.
Unit Specifics
Our Labor and Delivery unit is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including a 24/7 pharmacy and respiratory therapist. You will work alongside a dedicated support staff, including Patient Care Technicians, Health Unit Secretaries, OB scrub techs, and HUCs.
