About the Role:
The Music Therapist - Behavioral Health Specialist will provide music therapy services to patients at Beaumont Behavioral Health, a 144-bed behavioral health facility. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Music Therapy and Certification in Music Therapy. One year of related experience is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Assess patients to develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide music therapy interventions to promote positive changes in behavior
- Educate patients on healthy coping skills and available resources
- Collaborate with the treatment team to ensure comprehensive care
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Music Therapy
- Certification in Music Therapy
- One year of related experience (preferred)
