Job Opportunity for School Psychologist

We are seeking a skilled School Psychologist to join our team. This full-time position involves working with elementary students and their families.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from $47 to $54 per hour, depending on experience. A competitive benefits package is also offered, including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, as well as a 401(k) plan with employer match.

About the Role

This School Psychologist will conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive abilities, academic skills, social-emotional functioning, and developmental levels. They will interpret assessment results and provide insights to inform instructional planning, intervention strategies, and individualized education plans (IEPs).

  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other educational professionals to develop and implement effective interventions and behavior management strategies.
  • Provide counseling and support services to students individually or in group settings, addressing a wide range of social, emotional, and behavioral concerns.
  • Consult with parents, guardians, and external stakeholders to foster effective partnerships and support students' overall well-being and academic success.

The ideal candidate will possess a Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology, a valid license or certification as a School Psychologist, and proficient skills in conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting assessment results. Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and procedures, as well as commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical guidelines, are also essential.
