Establish a Safe and Engaging Environment

The Sid Jacobson JCC is seeking a skilled Division Head to oversee daily operations, ensure camper well-being, and manage staff at our summer camp.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise group leaders and staff to maintain high-quality programming and safety standards
  • Oversight of all activities, special events, and day trips within assigned groups
  • Maintain open communication with families and support networks for campers
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff members
  • Attend staff meetings, trainings, and orientations, including SCIP, CPR, First Aid, and Epipen certification

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in special education, social work, psychology, occupational therapy, or a related field with a focus on children with developmental disabilities
  • Minimum 4 years' experience working with children who have developmental disabilities
  • Minimum 2 years supervisory experience
