Software Quality Control Engineer

Vantaca is a leading provider of community management performance software. As a Quality Assurance Automation Specialist, you will be part of a skilled team focused on ensuring our product meets client needs.

About the Role

This position involves working closely with the Development Team and Operations Manager to oversee software quality control processes while continually improving software functionality. You will also implement Quality Automation Tests to ensure seamless product delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute test scripts for manual and automation testing.
  • Document software defects using a bug tracking system and report them to software developers.
  • Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements and potential problems.
  • Monitor bug resolution efforts and track success.
  • Create and review software documentation to ensure technical accuracy and completeness.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations to developers and product managers on software usability and functionality.
  • Investigate customer problems referred by technical support.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform with minimal supervision.
  • Exhibit leadership skills to coordinate personnel and projects.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and team building skills.
  • Demonstrated competence in QA-related activities through education and experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated competence in QA Automation (min 2-3 years).
