Clinical Support Specialist

HCA South Atlantic Division is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to fill the role of Clinical Support Resource RN. This position will provide guidance and support to new graduate nurses and nurses transitioning to a new specialty, ensuring high-quality patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide feedback, guidance, and mentoring to new graduate nurses and/or nurses transitioning to a new specialty.
- Support multiple units, providing guidance and education on the hospital's standard of nursing practice, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all accrediting and regulatory agency requirements.
- Serve as a mentor, providing feedback and direct support for nursing colleagues.
- Share knowledge and expertise with co-workers.
- Perform rounds on each nursing unit, observing and assessing the quality of patient care, and identifying nursing educational needs.
- Escalate concerns about nursing skills, patient care, policies, processes, and equipment as appropriate.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
- 3+ years of RN experience (Hospital).
- 1+ year of Preceptor experience.
- 1+ year of Leadership Role experience (Preferred).
- GA/Compact License as a Registered Professional Nurse.
- Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
- National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS).
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
- Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI).
- Behavioral Emergency Response Training (BERT).
